1. Agreement to these terms

By downloading, installing or subscribing to World of Chat Messenger through wocchat.com, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t buy or install the software.

2. Your licence

World of Chat Messenger is a WordPress plugin that comes with hosting on our chat servers. There is no limit on how many people can chat at once. Each plan includes a monthly message allowance:

• Pro (£9.99 a month): 10,000 messages a month.
• Business (£19.99 a month): 30,000 messages a month.
• Enterprise (£49.99 a month): 100,000 messages a month.

Each licence covers one website. To use the messenger on more than one website, you need a licence for each.

Your licence lets you install and use the plugin, get updates and connect to our chat servers for as long as your subscription is active.

3. Billing, renewals and cancelling

Subscriptions are billed every 30 days from the date you bought, not on the 1st of the month. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for.

• Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews every 30 days through Stripe until you cancel.
• Cancel yourself. You can cancel at any time with no penalty. Log in to My Account , open Subscriptions and click Cancel.
• Or ask us. Email worldofchat@hotmail.co.uk asking to cancel and we’ll do it for you.

4. Community Boosts

Boosts (1,000 message credits for £1.00) are a voluntary way for members of your community to help pay for your chat. When someone buys a Boost on your site, the credits are added to your room’s message allowance. Because Boosts are used up as messages are sent, they can’t be refunded once applied.

5. Service availability

We aim to keep our chat servers running 99.9% of the time. Occasional maintenance, or network problems outside our reasonable control, may cause short interruptions. We’ll help you get your chat connection working if there’s a problem.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use World of Chat Messenger or our chat servers to:

• Send illegal, defamatory, harassing or malicious content.
• Attack or flood our servers, run automated scripts against them or try to reverse-engineer our service.
• Spread malware, spam bots or phishing.

Breaking these rules can lead to your licence being suspended straight away, without a refund.

7. Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, World of Chat Messenger and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from using, or being unable to use, the software, from server downtime or from loss of business data.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, United Kingdom.
